Small Group Bible Studies

10 AM Sunday Mornings

We believe that the Bible should be studied in small group setting to truly soak into the text and get deeper into the Word! Come find a class for you so that you can be loved and fellowshipped with the Bible!

Corporate Collective Worship

11 AM Sunday Mornings

We believe that Christians should worship God as a corporate body of gathered believers and have collective fellowship with other disciples in the church. Join our faith family as we worship Christ Jesus in musical song and melody, robust expository preaching, and deep meditative prayer with the Triune God!

What We Believe

When most people think of the church, they image just a building, nice chapels, fancy cathedrals somewhere. We believe in church it its New Testament biblical meaning. A local gathered family of people who have believed and repented in Jesus Christ and who have followed Christ in baptism. When the Holy Spirit converts a person, He desires for that person to join a local church body. Scripture teaches that God created us to live in a church locale/background where we use the Bible as a spiritual tool to reach others for Jesus Christ and we are held accountable to Him by our faith in His shed blood at Calvary!

Sorgho Baptist Church believes in a word-by-word, contextual, expository preaching of God’s Word. We have a growing children’s ministry that wishes to fervently nourish and teach the next generation in biblical others-focused evangelism and discipleship. Church does not end within a sanctuary or study room but is community-centered and believes private family home worship and public collective/corporate worship are musts for pleasing the Lord!

God has entrusted believers with the Gospel, the power of God unto salvation (Rom. 1:16). We are saved by grace through faith as Ephesians 2:8 teaches. If you have not repented of your sins and trusted Jesus alone for your salvation, we pray God will reveal this need you have for Him in your heart and mind. Contact our church for more information about salvation contact our church and an elder or leader will gladly share Christ with you or read the Bible included in this invitation and read these verses: Romans 3:23; 6:23; 5:8, John 6:44; 3:16, Ephesians 2:1-10.

We love you and we are praying for you and your family every week! Grace and peace go with you in our Lord!

“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.” -Titus 2:11-14, NKJV

“Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.” -2 Thessalonians 1:2, 12; 2:16; 3:18, NKJV
